Manager to Mr. Delmoni: John Marks. This is a pure analog recording done exclusively with custom-built vacuum-tube electronics. The microphone set-up was the classic Blumlein arrangement. No noise reduction, equalization, compression, or limiting of any sort was used in the making of this record. Microphones: Custom-built vacuum-tube design by Tim de Paravicini of EAR using MILAB dual rectangular capsules. Mic Pre-Amp: Custom-built vacuum-tube design by Tim de Paravicini of EAR. Recorder: Ampex MR70 (Nuvistor) "The Jack Mullin Special." Half-inch two-track with custom heads designed by Tim de Paravicini of EAR. Run at 15 i.p.s./C.C.I.R. Tape: Ampex 456. Mastered at The Exchange (London) on a custom-built vacuum-tube cutting system designed by Tim de Paravicini of EAR, U.K. Plating: Allied Records, Santa Monica, CA.
