The Rondo Red with its nude elliptical stylus and aluminum cantilever is an amazingly clean performer. It is articulate but never harsh and etched. It sounds dynamic, expansive and panoramic. The extracted acoustic slides effortlessly from the sides and back of the speakers. Voices are marvelously rendered and palpable. Bass notes are delivered with the appropriate tempo and confidence. Overall, the Ortofon Rondo Red portrays music witrh detailed artistry and in clean broad strokes.
