Was intended to be a Leon Ware record (he cowrote most of the tracks) but they decided that Gaye would front it at the last minute, resulting in this perfect collaboration of two incredible soul artists at their absolute peaks. Cover painting made by ex footballer Ernie Barns recently sold in auction for 15.3 million.
