The Sansui 551 is an IC-equipped FM/AM stereo receiver which thanks to CBM (Circuit Board Module) construction techniques, offers superb electronics at a modest price.
You get high-gain IC (integrated circuits) in FM, AM sections and phono equaliser, 20 watts per channel driven into 1000Hz, extremely low distortion and power to drive even large stereo speaker systems. In a word, outstanding performance.
