This is a NEAR MINT 1962 Shaded Dog 1S/1S, A1/A1 LSC-1806 stereo pressing of Strauss ALSO SPRACH ZARATHUSTRA Op 30 with the Chicago Symphony conducted by Fritz Reiner. This record is must for any collector and the quality of this particular copy is a must for any audiophile. LSC-1806 is the RCA Living Stereo LP with the earliest recording date (1954). When Reiner and Chicago recorded Zarathustra again in 1962 (LSC 2609), the 1954 recording was deleted from the LSC catalogue. LSC 1806 was only in print for about 18 months. This is why it is so rare. Dead Wax Runoff Information: (1st set is matrix, 2nd is metal mother stamper, 3rd is for Indianapolis) Side 1: K2 RY6712 1S . . . A1 . . . I Side 2: K2 RY6713 1S . . .
