Come spend a Friday evening with one of Ottawa's most interesting new bands. On Friday, July 24 at 6:30 PM, The Record Centre is hosting an in-store perfromance by Aspect Lisse, who are celebrating their debut self-titled LP — released March 13, 2026.

About the Band

Aspect Lisse came together in Ottawa in January 2025, when drummer Marcus Howlett and guitarist/vocalist Bradley Nichols started writing together. Bassist Cory Levesque joined in the spring; guitarist Spencer Jacobs came aboard that summer. The four of them recorded this debut with producer Dave Draves at Little Bullhorn, right here in Ottawa, and the result is nine songs that sit somewhere between, "gothic Bob Seger, the Misfits, and atmospheric reverb-soaked romantic rock and roll."
