Oscar Peterson was born on August 15, 1925. This year, in honour of what would have been his 101st birthday, we’re part of something special.

The Record Centre is one of ten record stores around the world hosting a listening party for Oscar Peterson: World Tour — a new box set from Two Lions Records. We’ll have advance copies of the package in store, play tracks from the recording, and give you the chance to see this celebration in person — and purchase it before the official release date of August 28.

About the World Tour Box Set

World Tour is a new release from Two Lions Records, the label run by the Peterson family, presented in a very special collectible package. The project was previewed in a conversation between Kelly Peterson, Christian McBride, and Track Star Show host Jack Coyne — you can watch the full conversation on the Track Star podcast on YouTube.
