These "A Arte De" style compilations on Fontana and Philips are some of the best buys for your dollar with regards to Brazilian music. They were all manufactured in the 70s and mastered from the original tapes. They're super well curated and pressed and they feature many of the giants of Brazilian music (Elis Regina, Jorge Ben, Gal Costa, Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil, Tim Maia, Milton Nascimento, Nara Leão, Quarteo Em Cy, Edu Lobo, Emilio Santiago, Os Mutantes, Erasmo Carlos). We only wish we could offer you the entire series. But to start you off (or add to your existing collection), here's a great one featuring the music of Chico Buarque. The cover has some wear, but the discs are minty. Don't hesitate, just grab it!
