incredible very early 1st UK Mono pressing of The Beatles A Hard Day's Night in VG+/VG+ condition . This very early UK copy of A Hard Day's Night, the third Beatles studio album, released by Parlophone Records on July 10, 1964, is the true very early 1st Mono UK pressing with the earliest 1st 3N / 3N matrix numbers. 1st Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. print wrap around flap over round-cut corner single type cover contains the "middle" type "Mono" banner at the top right corner of the front cover and Catalog No. "PMC 1230" printed at the top right corner of the back cover. The bottom right corner of the back cover contains the "Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. Patents pending PMC 1230 PCS 3058" text on the flap-over border. Very early 1st print black Parlophone Records labels with silver print, large yellow "Parlophone" banner, PMC 1230 Catalog Number, "THE PARLOPHONE CO. LTD. (capital letter)" text printed at the perimeter, "RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED 1964" statement on the left (missing on the subsequent pressings!), embossed "K and T" tax code at the center, near the spindle hole, and A2 'I Should Have Known Better' having its title split over 2 lines. The labels also contain a very rare slender font type. The issue comes with the original tracing-rice-paper-lined “Use Emitex” die-cut inner sleeve. Very early 1st heavyweight, approximately 186g, vinyl with the very early 1st matrix numbers and 1st mother stampers: Side 1 - XEX 481 - 3N ALH/ Side 2 - XEX 482 - 3N AAL Cover is EX bordering on NM Vinyl is VG+
