* Originally recorded: (Tracks A, C to D2) on October 20, 1960 & (Track B) on September 1, 1960 by Rudy Van Gelder at Van Gelder Studios in NJ.
* Per Michael Cuscuna: The tracks first appeared in Mosaic's vinyl box-set #MR4-106 entitled "The Complete Blue Note Recordings of The Tina Brooks Quintet". The sessions/album was originally intended as #BLP 4052, but was shelved after the sessions. A Blue Note CD #21737 appeared in 1998 and then reissued in 2006 #BST84052.
* Packaged by Music Matters in a magnificent gatefold sleeve with high resolution b/w photos of the sessions on the inside of the jacket.
